Default Ford Truck & SUV 1st quarter sales up

 F-Series increases leadership position: F-150 and
Super Duty combined sales outstripped our nearest
competitor by 94,585 trucks – which is 15,939
higher than this point last year. F-Series ended the
quarter with an average transaction price of $47,454
as customers continue to choose high series and the
latest technologies. F-Series incentive spending in Q1
was lowest among all major full-size pickups.

Default Number One

F Series is still leading RAM, Chevy, and GMC in sales. It ain’t even close.

Yup...they're still number one in getting money outta our pockets! Not sure they are the best truck...or have the best engines as described.

OK, I'll bite. What manufacturer has a better lineup of engine choices in a half ton truck?

In my neighborhood we were driving back to the house, turned off the main road (no houses on it, just a big road into the sub division). It is maybe 1/2 mile or so, 66 houses until we get to ours, and I counted 34 trucks. 22 were 2015+ F-150's, and 8 are 2018+ F-150's. There are also 2 F-250's, 2018 and 2019 not included in the total F-150's. They are everywhere in Texas! One stretch had 4 houses in a row with them, 1 has 2 F-150's in his driveway. There is also 1 older Ranger in that same stretch.

This surprises me. Forecasts were for slower sales this year. Ford had by far the most incentives when I bought back in November as well which is why I bought one. Things change quick I guess.
