Default Ford Spray-in Bedliner

Now that you have owned you Ford spray-in liner, would you still get it or go with Line-x. The Ford bedliner has been available for long time looking for feedback would you get another one or stick with Line-x? Line-x is the gold standard so I think but getting a quality job anywhere is getting harder. Just looking for real world feedback from people with the factory bedliner. Thanks in advance!!

My real world experience has proven the factory spray-in liner is up to the task. Over the last three years, I have hauled gravel, fire wood, demolition waste, several appliances, bikes, luggage, range gear, propane tanks (bbq & RV), winter tires/rims, summer tires/rims, job site tools, furniture, generators, misc car parts, and dogs. It still looks great.

I’m not saying the aftermarket ones are not good. They may be better. They certainly start at the same price and go up from there. I’m saying, the Ford option is just fine for most, including those who “use their truck like a truck”.

So far, so good...it looks like a LineX liner, and so far has responded like one when things have moved around in the bed...

So I have no experience with Line-X...is it hard plastic like the factory spray in? TBH this is the first truck I've owned that actually owned with a bedliner, but I'm impressed with the Ford spray in. It looks pretty stout.

Get linex. The factory liner is ok. The linex is the same price, and they seal/caulk the seems of the bed before spraying so it lets in a lot less dirt and water. I couldn't stand seeing daylight all around my bed with the factory spray. If it was significantly cheaper I'd consider it.

After having a factory liner, I'll never get it again for that fact.

FYI, the openings along the edge of the box are water drains.

I went with the "factory" bedliner, which is paint. I scratched it up on the first day I owned the truck. As is expected, right? It's irrelevant, since whenever you do a bedliner they sand down the paint, anyway.

You know that the factory bedliner isn't paint, right?

Actually Ford does not appear to prep the bed very well, if at all prior to the applying the liner.

I've posted this video before (Sorry), it was a real eyeopener to go with a LineX over a factory liner. I'll honest though there does not appear to be many complaints with the factory liner, so I didn't vote.
