It's been a long time since I have not just ordered and bought off the lot. Largely because of wanting or not wanting this feature or that, color etc. This is my first experience of seeing the features I prefer, in the trim across multiple colors sitting right there.
Same where I am. I haven't seen another one on the road yet besides mine and my dealer hasn't sold any besides mine. Other dealers have them sitting on the lot as well.

Same in Nova Scotia, they are sitting on the dealer lots, not selling at all.

Funny how prices are all over the place. My dealer started at invoice when I walked in the door. Then discounted from there before asking about a trade.... If I saw a dealer at retail, I think I would buy from out of state, fly to the dealer, and drive home a new truck. Great way to break it in.....

I don't think 2015 trucks are moving especially quick in Houston. I've been watching several dealers websites and the same 2015s have been sitting for a while. Not all of them, but I wouldn't say they are flying off the lots down here.

I am not trying to ditch on them. I want them to be strong an successful! I would love to trade in my F350 KR on a F150. So, I am not hating on them. Just assessing the landscape hoping the ramp up of the new plant, ramp up in inventory and need to get the their golden goose sales kick started again results in some more aggressive assentive. Even if its short term. Although retails sales were up 4% it does not seem that is specific to the F150 line. I am not saying 150 being down 1% for a month is dire straights. I think there is strong demand for the new 150. Execs are always going to paint an optimistic strong picture. As a product guy, I never tell the market, or customers when we are struggling or hitting any speed bumps. Anytime you have to adjust, pivot or re-group you are going to look for ways to kick start things again when your ready. That looks to be about June for the 150.

Positive news:
Retail sales up 7% in Feb ( Excluding fleet and corp)
21% of Feb 150 sales were the new models
Avg. Days on lot 18 ( KR 16 days, Plat 12 days)

Not ideal news:
F-150 down 1% in Feb
Ford Brand down almost 2% as a result of 150 sales
Total sales almost 2% lower than a year ago
Toyota outsold Ford for first time in 6 months
Ford posted 8th straight loss since 2014
Ram sales up 7% in Feb
GMC / Chevy up 6% and 24%

Sales are down because of limited availability and only one plant operational. It says that in the article. It's not bad news at all. Ford is having trouble supplying dealerships due to demand.
