Default Ford ESP

I know stupid question, I have a 2017 f150 Lariat FX4. EB 3.5 with 10 Speed Transmission. My Warranty expires in about 6K miles and I got a quote from Ford to buy the ESP for about 3K. Then the truck would be covered for 5 year and 100K miles. Do you think it's worth paying for the extended coverage? I do have a ESP plan on my wife's fusion and so for it was worth it, but that plan was only 1100.00 vs 3400 for my truck.

There are endless discussion of this. It's worth it for the dealership, that's for sure...

For those that want the "security"(?) of having an ESP, Flood and Zeigler provide the lowest rates per many posting here.

Definitely worth it but you can find it cheaper than that. Just make sure it's an actual Ford ESP and not third party bs.

Just run Lasco Ford ESP on my 18 with 12k VS a 17 with 30k,

8yr / 100k Premium plan $50.00 ded = $1770.0 on each Vehicle.

Personally going to wait until closer on 3/36 then decide.

Thanks for the link, that is way cheaper. I can deal with that cost vs the 3400.00. I might also reach out to my dealer and ask them. I wonder if it matters if the truck was new vs used?

No, it doesn't.

Your dealer will likely say:

"It's impossible to sell it for that price. It's probably not a Ford ESP". Answer - yes it is.
