Default Force Rear View Camera While Driving?

I think spending a good 45 minute searching is fair, so I apologize if my google-FU is poor.

I would like to be able to enable the backup camera while driving, I have some instances when pulling a load on the trailer that is small, or otherwise I want to force the camera to just stay on.

Is there some kind of reverse input on the Sync3 we can send 12V to or something or is it all over CANBUS, any ForScan change?

Thanks

it was a joke. If you go down the canbus route. You will need to cut some of the can lines going to the sync and replace with your own messages. Basically need to tell the sync your in reverse and the speed is zero. I found these messages about two years ago but just don't have time or a need for this myself

Since you didn't post what you had, and it's a 2015+ forum, no one would have known that.

I don't believe you have any option unless you add a third party rear camera.

Swap the rear view mirror out with one that has a screen. Then tap the rear cam signal. Add a switch to the mirror to turn it on whenever

I have a featureless mirror, so i'm considering that, possibly adding the rear camera to the 3rd brake light, and then using a display mirror
