Default Fog lights on when headlights on?

Is there a way to have the fog lights on every time I turn the headlights on? Just so I don't have to hit the fog light switch every time I turn the head lights on. Thanks.

What you describe is illegal in many areas. I would recommend the bambi mod instead.

yes, if you are not subject to differences depending on the legality in your area...

mine are set as you have described by putting the lights to auto on/off and when they come on, hit the fog light switch....

next time they auto on, they will automatically come on with the headlights

That is how I do it. And it's not illegal to have fog lights on with headlights. Brights? That's a different story.

I think your question was misunderstood. Fog lights with headlights (low beam) are legal in all 50 states.
But I know what you mean. I hate having to turn on the fogs every time I turn the dial for headlights. Why the ford techs couldn't figure this out is beyond me. Even if the dial would pull out, like the 95-98 Ram, as you turned it that would be better.

This is correct! If you have your lights set to automatic and you turn your fog lights on they will come on every time your headlights come on. I go between automatic and the headlights on the dial and the fogs automatically come on with both settings. If you turn the dial to off and back on you have to hit the fog button every time.

Good stuff here! I like the fog lights being on with the headlights all the time. I went out and tried this and it worked. I guess I'm too lazy to read the manual on some things.

Auto lights are awesome until you drive a car without them. Then you're the idiot that didn't turn on his lights as dusk or leaves them on when you park. Auto lights and automatic transmissions have made me lazy.

Is this why I've noticed sometimes my fogs are NOT on? I NORMALLY leave the headlights on auto (first time ever having that feature in a vehicle). Sometimes however, like if it's raining or I just want them on) I'll manually put them on. I've noticed SOMETIMES the fogs are off... i guess that explains why, from manually turning them on. Here I thought I was going crazy
