Default Fog Lights

Changed out fogs today with these LED bulbs thanks to a couple members recommendations. They look like a close match to the headlights
Before (sorry for the quality tried taking with phone before i was smart enough to get camera, but you get the idea)

Default Fog Lights

I have basically the same LED in my fogs. I like the look but the light output is not as good as the halogens in weather and rain. I am looking to get a set of yellow LEDs of matching power next.

I have these fogs as well and I like the color of the light when compared to the headlights, however I agree the that the light pattern is a bit (a lot) off from the factory fogs.

My question is this: Is there a way to adjust the fogs and has anybody tried this. I think I recall seeing an adjustment screw under there when I was installing them but I could be wrong. I would need to adjust mine down. When I'm driving on a dark road and turn them on, they cast some light about 10-15' into the tree line without brightening up the immediate front of the road.

You have to stay away from the cheap bulbs if you want bright. I have HL3600's in my 13 F150, and they are a lot brighter than the halogens.

There are a few but I would wait until some more "reputable" sources appear or get some reviews.

Default From Vendor Thread

Been watching this regarding 2015 fogs......I posted a link to what I think is some pretty useful info and pictures on fogs...enjoy if you had not found that link on the subject......

2nd link is to a test of the earlier Morimoto XBs for Toyota which will be coming out "soon" for 2015 F-150....and a pre sale for Forum members.....with free shipping.....

https://www.f150forum.com/f37/2015-l...94700/index11/

I have watched all the threads on the 2015 fogs and frankly am not inclined to swap out just the bulbs for "color".

I WAS veery impressed with a review posted on a Toyota site that did some great pictures and verbal input relating to the XB product....expect the f-150 version to have the same quality and attributes. That said, I am going to await the Morimoto fogs and pay the price for quality looks and light.

PS.....I am NOT a shill for any vendor, just thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures for comparison....hope they help you make up your minds....bulbs or units
