Most replacement bulbs are weak. I have HL3600 fanless Head light bulbs in my fogs. They are nice and bright.
Fog lights aren't supposed to be bright...a proper fog light should be around 2800k in color brightness with a yellow hue. A proper and DOT approved set of LED fog lights should set you back between $250 and $300.

That might be the case however aesthetically I like the colors to match. In every vehicle I've ever owned the fog lamps always have been the same color as the headlamps.
my lariat 502a came with halogen bulbs fog lights, i had been on this forum before i picked up the truck from the dealer so i switched to led fogs before it left the dealer
