Default Flow through console disassembly?

Just acquired a flow through console from a Special Edition Lariat and want to swap out the console cover, shift boot, and shift know onto my truck (which is why I bought the Lariat console to begin with).

Has anybody done this or know if / how I can make this swap without pulling the console out of my truck? As this is a Roush F-150SC it has a serial number plate on my console in front of the shifter so I don't want to just swap consoles.

For those who wonder why, I have custom leather seats that are black with red trim and red stitching. Swapping the console cover, shift **** and boot will make them match.

thanks,

ETA

see if this works here:

JP, yes the leather covered cover.

Firerunner, it's in front of the shift ****.

Above is a googled image, see the silver thing in front of the shift ****? That's the Roush serialized badge plate.

Ok... on the rear of your console pull straight up on the cupholders, that will give you the access to the screws that hold the lid in place.

After you remove the lid (or open it because it's not necessary to remove if your not replacing it) Set your parking brake and shift the truck into "N" then pull up on the top of the console right behind the shifter and remove it, there are two clips in the front that connect to the vent panels so once you raise it up pull to the rear and release them... both pieces are held in place with clips only.

Next there will be two screws in the center between the shifter & front cup holders..take them out and pull up on that assembly. The Shifter is mounted with four screws and one screw for the shifter cable.. after you remove the shifter cable screw the cable will pop off of the shifter...It is connected with a ball mount.

If you don't mind when its all wrapped up I'm sure we would all love to see a couple pictures of it. Between the instructions Firerunner gave you and the excerpts I sent you hopefully none of those ****** plastic clips break, I'm rarely so lucky though.

oh ok... skip the whole part about the rear cup holders and lid removal then... just open it and pull up on the trim.. it's held on with 8 clips.
