I'm on my second fill up since the adjustment. First fill up was off slightly by 0.1mpg. Second fill up was off by 0.03mpg. Close enough for me!

Wow! That is close. I did this back in Aug 2018, mine has never been that close.
I log every tank on fuelly and an app on my phone. I also reset trip one at every fill up, and put in notes what the lie o meter says.
I just went back on app the last 20 tanks. April 2019.
On the last 20 tanks, the truck always says worse MPG than app, except one tank.
Four tanks over 1 MPG off. 1.18, 1.29, 1.04, 1.15.
Three tanks .34, .50, .51.
All the rest of tanks between .60 and .97.
The average of last 20 tanks .756, truck less mpg than app.

Whats interesting is the main readout is closer to accurate than the trips are. The dash shows 22, trip was 21.8, actual is 22.2, Trip 2 is since the day I rolled out of the dealer with 22 miles on it and it is off by about .4 MPG lifetime which is 20.2, it is at 19.8. SInce the main one is the one I have up all the time, it being the most accurate, I will stick with where I have it set.

I still can't get over just how good the MPG is with this Gen2 EB over the past Gen1's I have had. To get the kind of mileage I get now, I had to be really light on the pedal, drive 55 MPH and hypermile. Now I just drive it, enjoy it, and it gets good MPG.

I just changed my '19 XLT to 941 which, coincidentally, is the 6% drop in mileage from from regular 87 to the 10% ethanol blend that's sold around here IIRC.

Worked like a champ on my 4" display cluster.

I just fixed mine. It was reading 8.5% high. Thanks for the instructions!

I've been looking at this and see one MAJOR issue. Your mileage will be off if you leave your truck idling with the AC on. If you use a calculator to figure fuel usage, you have no idea how much fuel was used idling. I've found the onboard reading isn't off by much if I drive for 300 miles, with no idling. But if I stop and let the engine run for say 10 minutes to keep the dogs cool in 90+ temps while I make a pit stop, the hand calculated measurement will be off.

I guess I'll have to wait for winter (Feb 9 to Feb 14 down here in southern GA ) to get a more accurate determination.

Except that your truck does know how much fuel it’s wasting while idling, and if calibrated correctly should accurately estimate your mileage including the fuel wasted at idle.

This has been discussed. YOU don't know how much time was spent idling....but the truck does know and includes it in the calculation.
On Wednesday, I filled up, reset my trip and instant mpg, drove down the road and got stopped at a red light.
My mpg dropped pretty fast since I had only driven half a mile before the light stopped me.
The truck calculates all this...

what happens when you do it a second time at a later date. If then it is only off just a little bit, the number you get will be getting close to 1000 again. If you then plug that number back in, you will be right back to where you started. So doing it twice will make you do it 3 times.
