Default First Snow

We had a little overnight snow in Philly. We've only had the truck for a few weeks.

Switched to 4A for the commute...most of the roads were pretty clear. I never noticed the 4A kicking in/out.

Close to work, the roads went to cr@p. Steep downhill with a sharp right followed by a sharp left into the parking lot. No drama, just solid traction.

Nice job FMC!

I took my truck up near some mountains to just take a drive and check everything out. The road went from patchy snow/ice to solid packed snow. I started with 4A then full 4 wheel drive, coming back down some steep roads I started with the transmission in Manual to control speed, then switched to hill decent for some steeper roads, everything worked great. My truck did not slip or slide at all, I was very impressed with the traction. I am driving a 4WD Platinum screw. I could not have been happier with the test drive.

I'm not sure why they don't put 4A on all of them. When I bought my 02 Silverado I had the option of the shifter or the switch for 4wd and if I took the switch that was standard.
