I always try and park far away.......until another truck comes along and parks right next to me.

Did the same thing setting up my WDH. Left the washer screw for my equalizer on the bumper, put the tailgate down to see if it would hit the shank, was like "wow, don't remember it being so bouncy", then my stomach sank

I tend to park far ways from every one else but this one time some guy didn't put his truck in park correctly and rolled down the parking lot and it mine. Luckily my car took the hit before it hit some kid. Owell **** happens i guess.

I was trying to be cool guy as I was walking to my brand new truck backed in all sexy like at the mall, went to remote start her... opened the tailgate against the wall. Thank god I was close enough and the dampener did its job, only a little bit of paint transfer. Nice little reminder to stay humble.

Luckily so far no real scratches, even after driving on gravel roads, I did have a scare the other morning tho.

I stopped at a gas station in the morning, hadn't even had my coffee yet, to grab a bite to eat and some smokes and as I am putting my seat belt on to leave I hear a "THUMP" and the truck vibrates, I look over to the pass side and this kid is pulling his door off my truck. I get out and go look but luckily his door hit the plastic on the mirror housing, a small scuff, nothing major.

But the bigger "aww ****" moment was tonight when I was cleaning the windows to apply rainx to the truck. I notice in the windshield I have 3 very small chips in it. No idea where they came from, ive not had any rocks hit my windshield (im thinking its from when it was on the semi being transported from KCAP)

I've been concerned that this very thing would happen while parked in the garage, not notice it and then raise the door with the tailgate leaning on it. Maybe it's possible to disable the tailgate remote....

Their always has to be that guy and you are that guy. #1 The pictures were taken oven at the Ford dealer after they moved it to get an estimate for the work. #2 if you were really paying attention instead of being that guy then you will notice the white lines, which means it's a no parking area.
