Default First Responder siren and lights

I recently bought a 2015 F150 and I'm curious as to where I can mount my siren speaker at where there won't be any trouble.

Also I have the mobile radio and siren switch box to mount inside, stumped in what to do there too.

Thanks in advance for any help

Not sure on your 15 but on previous models (left side offset) behind front license plate on 5.0's for siren and under drivers seat for control box. Switch mount to drivers side of shift console using heavy duty black Velcro or on dash in convenient location. Just take some time and review your options, each model may have more suitable locations. When I do something like this I like to use a location that would be inexpensive to replace should I mess up or want to remove from vehicle.

What are you doing for lights? I've been considering lighting mine.

I think the mirror spot lights would be decent intersection lights. Just don't want to start splicing into the wires just yet. And definitely don't want to go cutting holes in the BLIS rear lights to mount lights.

I typically like the unobtrusive look (or lack of) of undercover style lighting, but might have to settle for a suction cup dash light.

I do the installs for our construction company (mostly F2/350s, but our supervisors have 150s)

We have 4 '15 150s that I did, no siren, but I put traffic advisors in the back glass, LAWs in the HLs and TLs - since theyre aluminum we cant use top magnetic lights anymore (sigh)

As for a siren, just having seen the ones I did, I would put it right in the center (where the plate is) or just off to the left of the plate (Drivers side) if you dont have the auto-cruise thing for it to block)

There's a lot of room in there for most any speaker, and if you dont want to do LAWS (trust me, theyre a royal bitch - double walled and a pain to remove) - do surface mounts or a license plate mount.

My boss (the VP) has an interior lightbar and rear stick, but no LAWs (he has the LED HLs) and I didnt want to drill into $800/each tails.

We use/sell Feniex here - if youre curious what I used.
LAWs: Cannons
Traffic Advisor: Apollo 800s
Interior bar: Apollo split (the F150 specific does NOT work for upper trim levels)

Absolutely love Feniex's products. I bought a pair of the Cobra T-3's for $30 each (1 amber/1 white) and mounted them to my BakFlip BakBox in the back of my truck. I have Feniex's cigarette lighter plug mounted to them and I power them with a portable jump starter battery pack sitting in the BakBox. I will flip them on when I have the tailgate down with some oversized conduit hanging out of the box.

Look into the roof mount made by Acari. You pop out the High Mounted Stop light and put the Acari mount into it and then reinstall the brake light. You can then mount a mini bar to the Acari mount. If you check out Tri State Public Safety on Youtube, they just used a bunch of those on some '15 F-150's.

I just mounted a pair of Feniex Cobra 200's in the back window of my '15 PLATINUM FX4. I mounted them vertically on each side of the window. My rear window is 10% tint and it punches through great.
