Welcome to the forum. Pricing all depends on region. I would think in TX where you are, they have more inventory too, which is why they may be more willing to do invoice. I got an OK deal, not invoice, but I'm in CA.

What dealership in Dallas are you buying from? I'm in Houston, but with a discount like that I'd drive up to Dallas for a new rig.

By the time you factor in airfare, gas, depreciation and your time how can you possibly come out ahead flying from Alaska to Dallas and driving back?

Google Holiday Ford in north Dallas, Whitesboro. They have 30 something 2015's and most are around $8000 below msrp.

It looks like the pricing in Texas is way better than X or A plan pricing in Michigan. I could get a Lariat for what I'd pay for A plan XLT. Any thoughts? Does this apply to a special order as well?

First, welcome to the forum!!

I purchased mine for $500 below invoice and get the rebate and the $750 private rebate offer. At that price it is at $7,000 off MSRP. I'm talking about the MSRP after the Ford discounts on the window sticker. Those package rebates equals $1750. Also my dealer has a DOC fee of only $95.

No problem to get that price from any of the dealers in my area on a pre-sold or ordered truck. Don't know about trucks on the lot but would guess you could do the same deal.

I supposedly paid invoice plus a grand in my 2015 Lariat SuperCrew w/ 502A, max tow, and RR paint (extra cost option). Ordered Labor Day 2014. Delivered 2/12 to central MA.

I can't know for sure, but I paid $5K under sticker price.

Not sure how you can not know. You can always look up the invoice price of your vehicle and options, then deduct incentives and rebates.
