Great, you will love the new '15. Advice: Don't read any more of this forum related to issues... You're truck will be perfect - given they manufacture hundreds each day.

Lol, I like to follow the issues just to know what to watch out for, but I don't worry too much about them. They roll one off the line every minute, and there's still people involved in assembly, so there's always going to be a few mistakes here and there. I have confidence that Ford will do what it takes to make things right when found.

How long does it typically take to get a VIN #? I am anxious to start checking the COTUS page every 5 minutes for the next 3-4 months.

It varies on how long it takes to get a VIN. Some guys get them in a few days, some have been waiting over a month. I ordered 1/14 and do not have a VIN yet.

Ordered 1/22 and still nothing for me either. I feel like I'm playing the Vin # lottery, you never know when your # will hit!

pb65stang: I noticed your ordered truck in your signature, PB. My dealer has a '15 King Ranch Screw 3.5 EB 5.5 bed in Bronze Fire that's been on the lot for a couple of weeks now. I test drove it. They also have a Black Lariat FX4 Screw with the 5.0 and a 5.5 bed that showed up about a week and a half ago. Both are dealer stock.

Never had a truck. Joined the forum today. Made deposit last Sat., think the order was placed on Monday, 2/2/15. My dealer said 6-8 weeks for delivery. Hope he wasn't just making that up! Platinum 4x4, 3.5 EcoV6, white tri-coat, loaded w/ everything except skid plates & e-lock diff. I'll post when I get a VIN.
