You didn’t mention it was a Lariat, too. Sweet truck, congrats.

thanks. I agree. I’m pretty impressed with this truck. I did consider all trims though and this one suited me best with all the options I had to have like 6.5ft box, 3.5L, etc.

yep the 99 is a lariat. The 2020 model is king ranch. It’s not a max tow but I’ll never haul anything these things couldn’t handle

Ah, welcome to the "longboy" club! I went the same route a few years ago and haven't come across a combination that I like more. It was tough locating a crew cab long bed 5.0 lariat but it feels somewhat unique in the sea of short beds. Sun roof is cool and all, but mine lives mostly outside and it is nice not worrying about potential issues with seals/tracks/water intrusion etc.

Hah, right. Never had any issues with the one on our 2016 Explorer that we just traded in and not anticipating them in our 2021 Explorer Platinum, but it's also garage kept. Not trying to spark a sunroof debate as the number of working sunroofs likely highly outweigh the number of problematic ones. Just comes down to preference. I'd venture to guess most people don't give their sunroof any attention, but a little preventative maintenance goes a long way.
