HAHA, I am pretty sure Ford engineers ignored aerodynamics with this gen......

 

As flat and square as they are, I tend to agree.

 

This is too late since you already ordered, but I just took the emblems off my truck. The emblems are different on the leading vs trailing edge tapers but I doubt that anyone would notice. Only the one alignment pin is different on the back, otherwise everything is in the same position.
I noticed the hole patterns are also not in the same position on each fender. The driver's side pattern is 1/2" farther back.

 

Yes, I agree with all that. The one hole will be covered by the emblem though.

 

Where are you finding the stx ones online? I keep searching the part number, but i got nothing. Tasca, quirk, ebay etc.

Tasca has them, they are JL3Z-16720-B and JL3Z-16720-A, You should probably paint a set Lightning Blue........LOL
