Default Fender Emblem Alternate Logos

Trying something to replace the giant F150 emblem and cover all those holes. Maybe a conversation starter too.

Hmmm, well as long as you like it. I mean, it doesn't look bad, just not my taste. I have mine out for PTM right now. Should get them back in a couple weeks.

Not my cup of tea but if you like it that’s all that matters. I’m more of a less is more guy and don’t believe in adding unnecessary badging or stickers to a vehicle.

That will only work on the 2015-2017 F150 since the displacement changed in 2018 with the new dual enjection engine. I think the 2018 is a 308ci.

If someone can or knows someone who could make this to replace the F150 XLT emblem on the side of my truck you will instantly become my favorite person on earth. Need to pop it off and find something to cover dem holes.

I got the coyote head at Fanatics. It is actually the Arizona NHL Coyote emblem. I see a metal Seahawks emblem there but it doesn't have the skyline. The Coyote head is only big enough to cover the two holes that are close together. Had to use the 302 emblem for the other holes. I could have got a 5.0L emblem but thought 302 was more old school.

That's why I got rid of the big F150 emblems. They were huge. Needed something to cover the holes and didn't want to go to the expense of welding and repainting. These emblems are smaller overall, but would still like a smaller coyote head.
My grandson will like the coyote head so that's a plus.
I'm not into having other people's names all over my clothes, cars, etc. I see it as being sucked into becoming a walking advertisement. My next step is to get rid of the Ford ovals front and back.

I noticed that when I was researching the specs even though they are both rounded to 5.0 liter. The 2018 is a .03" larger cylinder bore. I seem to remember reading that the 2018 5.0L would have a coated cylinder liner instead of a steel sleeve? Picks up a little more horsepower.
I actually calculated the CID from the Ford web site specs to make sure the 302 was correct on my 2017.

About the only thing that I found that looked good was buying some fender vents. The downside is that the few I have seen require you to cut into the fender to make them fit properly.

I will probably just buy a spare set and paint them or buy a painted set from someone.
