Default Farming?

Just curious as to how many people use their F150s to farm. We farm 1000 acres in California comprised of alfalfa,Bermuda and Kline produced for hay. Just got my 2018 this past September and she’s already at 47k miles and running strong.

A little bit, we have a relatively small number of pigs so I occasionally move some straw around or haul some critters around the countryside. I also keep bees, and they're somewhat remote so I'm offroad often enough. 2016 XLT 301 Sport 5.0

Super jealous of those tow mirrors figured with the max tow package I’d have them not was I surprised. How much do those round bales weight ? We do 100lb little square bales or 1000 pound big square bales

Yeah, I ordered the mirrors through Ford and put them on a few months ago, March maybe. They were about $900 CAD but worth it to me, especially after reading about many $300 aftermarket ones that seem to quickly develop electrical issues or shaky glass. These ones are the "mid range" ones: Power glass, defrost, signals, but no power fold/extend.

That truck has the "Tow Package" but I found out afterwards that only gets you the hitch receiver, and transmission cooler. It also has the 4/7 pin plugs, but no brake controller. I bought the OEM brake controller and put it in myself.

I believe those bales only weighed around 500 pounds each, they're from winter wheat here in southwestern Ontario.

Exactly probably will be ordering some this next month. My truck came with the max tow so i had the brake controller the reverse **** and enhanced radiator and transmission coolers. Just no tow mirrors the stock mirrors are fine most of the time but we have a few trailers where i can't really see jack squat that and just driving around on our dirt roads the lower glass on the tow mirrors is great for seeing where your back tires are.
