Interesting that these posts seem to always be for trucks built in Dearborn. No KC love?

The door jamb VIN sticker says where it was built, if I remember correctly. My truck had that ugly sticker, and took it out at the dealer, before driving away. Ha ha. But until home could remove the leftover adhesive, with WD40. By the way, my windshield had another small, round sticker about it having some kind of coating. No idea what it was.

As I see it, if the people who built my truck take enough pride in their work to put their sticker on my windshield, then I'm happy to support their pride by leaving the sticker alone.
Might be a little karma at work, too. I've never had the slightest issue or complaint of any kind with my truck.

I emailed the UAW for mine. They were pretty nice about it and I got this letter with the stickers.

Maybe this should be a sticky since it seems to get asked a lot throughout the forum?

Just emailed Kansas City plants local for a new sticker. Will be glad to have it back on my windshield where it belongs.

I haven't had to replace mine, but I've heard they will send you one for free.
