Default Factory LED headlights to Halogen

Yes, you're reading that right. I have a brand new set of black housing headlights for my 2017 Lariat that I'd like to install. However my truck has the fsctory LEDS and I'd like to swap the housings out for the halogen black housing headlights. ( I have LED bulbs)

Before I take the time to tear everything down to swap the housings, is it possible to swap the fsctory led housings for the aftermarket halogen??

Tried searching prior to posting but all I see is halogen to led swaps... I'm trying the other way around.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I dont know of anyone making a harness to go led to halogen, probably because they would sell 1. Ever. Why on earth would you do such a downgrade? And yes oem led perform better than halogen with a plug n play led bulb.

I would probably contact BoostedGreyGoose at Contact — Boosted GreyGoose Designs He is probably your best shot.

sorry what is the goal here - you dont like the appearance of the factory LED setup. Is that right.

so you want to backpedal to the factory halogen wiring setup to use some aftermarket kit for the looks. Is that it?

You might not actually have to change anything. meanwhile what about the looks do you want to change

I get it's not what others may do. But do to my driving restrictions I'm not really able to drive at night anyways. So to answer your question, yes I'd like to at the very least change the look hinc why I've bought the black hoimusing headlights as opposed to the chrome factory headlights.

I guess my main question was before I tear into removing my headlights, I wasn't sure if the harness was the same for led/halogen set ups or not.

Hope that clarifies things a bit more.

Some aftermarket blacked out headlights are plug and play with led equipment trucks. Look up the morimoto XB's for example. They can be expensive but if you sell the halogens you picked up and your OEM leds you should fair out pretty well.

Just a different option.

Since you already have factory LEDs, I would look into a set of the Raptor or Special Edition LEDs. Both will be a plug and play swap.

If you just are wanting black headlight housings and that is why you are switching, then absolutely this. Will be the easiest and if you sell your factory LED housings you will likely get almost as much as the used Raptor LED housings will cost on ebay. The Raptor ones are black and the SE ones are dark gray, almost black. You can really only tell a difference if you hold them side by side (ask me how I know, and why I recommend purchasing a set if possible rather than L and R separate).

What would be a fair asking price for my factory lights? They are in phenomenal condition. They have the automatic brights option and I swear when I turn its like the light beam moves on its own in the direction I'm turning. (if that makes sense)

On Facebook they generally go for $700ish on the low end with broken plastic pieces. You could likely get close to 1000 but if you price closer to 800 they'll sell quicker
