I totally agree, I tried going the cheaper route with a couple of those cheap LED bulb replacements but they either looked like crap or cause oncoming traffic to be blinded, which gets aggravating real quick.
I got the cargo and brake upgrade kit from f150leds. Would have probably been cheaper to go elsewhere but for $16 you can't complain too much. Seems like a good quality product and I'll be keeping my eye on their 2015 options from here out.
Coming from a Mercedes, finding the right LED upgrades were a pain because it had light out notifications that required special LED with resistors designed to prevent the system from thinking the light was out, etc.
Does anyone know what light(s) have light out notification warnings that would require resistors when running LEDs?
I'm looking to do LED updates to the rear license plate lights, flood lights on the rear of the cab shining down to the bed and lastly, looking to update reverse lights.
Does anyone know if these need built-in resistors or if there are no light out notification checks for these locations requiring resistors.

I got a set of the cargo LED lights and the LED tag light from F150LEDS.com.
Not impressed with the cargo lights, however the tag lights look great.
I will be ordering the full LED cargo light from Ford.
