Hope the owner opted for all the cooling toys and big gears, that truck is three stacked bricks.

this is coming from working on a honda, where if the airbags deployed you cannot reuse the SCCM module, you either get is rebuilt or get a new one.

Please try to first find out this basic information. Weather If the SCCM can be reused after an airbag deploy, the module has to be replaced or reset via a rebuild process.

Now I see. I suppose it took a lot of research to find a chassis with the same wheelbase as the box truck, or you had some chop work to do in there.
The owner did the research on what he wanted and his lists of wants and needs. The wheelbase wasn't quite right. It was pretty close and the wheel openings needed to be opened up anyways so it all worked out real well

OK - You listening to 92.5 and that 817 594 gotta be near the Ft Worth area.. Not sure if that station would reach Weatherford or if that is just where the cab is from. Would be fun to
see it in person once we are set free.

You will be able to get both a hard and soft copy of your AS-Built module programming. You will be able to find DTCs in FORscan and compare module code to see if things are bueno.
Something else.....I seem to recall somewhere I saw that the SCCM will go into failure should the air bag go off.
Ok so I have Forscan and hooked it up to basically find that the Steering column control module, Restraint control module and the ABS module are not even being seen by the computer. I am getting HS2 signals for transfer case control module so I know that it is getting some signal at some point. From what i can see and what I can figure from the wiring diagram for the truck is that there may be a disconnect or break at some point in the line. I guess the best thing I could do is begin by testing for continuity between modules to see where the problem may be? If anyone may have some feedback on if this process may be beneficial or if there is something else that I may be missing in process? The wiring diagram that I have shows that the abs, sccm and rcm are all on the "front" of the HS2 line. This is what is making me think there may be an issue down the line at some point. I know that I am in pretty much uncharted territory and there may not been anyone who has seen anything like this but its always nice to have some outside influence and views. a "fresh" set of eyes is always great and helpful. Thanks in advance

So back in post 14 I laid out a test of the HS2 network, today after work I verified everything and that test perfectly adapts from J1939 to the HS2 network. Take the readings and let me know what you get for each one and I can probably help you out. This isnt uncharted territory for me as I have some experience diagnosing and repairing CAN networks on class 8 vehicles. Following post 14 will be the best place to start

I will run the test as soon as the van gets back from the glass shop. I had about 3 hours of time from when i got forscan in the mail and it had to be at the glass shop. I appreciate all the info and I will let you know what I find

Ok so I figured out my issue and it was indeed a severed line. All the modules are in good working order and are being read by the gateway module now. I just had to do some minor soldering on the wires and everything was fixed. I appreciate all the feedback and help from you guys. Its nice to get some new perspectives and thoughts by outside people. Its always tough when you get a thought stuck in your head and its not easy to take a step back and look at it with a different view. I will post some pictures of the finished product shortly. It will be wrapped up and the owner will be on the road with it in a couple of weeks

Yes it did. They did a nice little write up on it. The owner actually sent me a link to the story the day it came out
