Default F150 4x4 problem??

Today it was raining, i only ever drive in 2h. I do not have 4A but i do have 4h,4l and lockers with the XLT FX4 with a 5.0... However today i had this(pic below) pop up on my dash for no reason. I did try putting it in 4h and it seemed to work fine. Im not too sure whats going on here. Also it turn off when i shut down and comes on in about 10-20 km of driving.

Anyone ever see this before?

I had that happen, they had to replace the IWE Actuator.

If you own a 4x4 you should toggle it on non pavement a few times a year to use the IWE. I had this happen to my 13 after not using for 1.7 years. Now I use it when on gravel as habit, use it or lose it applies, MAYBE.

Never had issue on my 10 or 11 as winters came earlier and used more.

Unfortunatly a drive on a dirt road is farther away then the dealer. I have used it this winter a couple of times but i will take it to the dealer to get the IWE checked. Thanks for advise!

Also have them run it for codes. The other day my check engine light came on. Ran a vehicle health report... Engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, or Emission issue. Well no $&@%. Pointless..
I ran the codes, then the check engine light went off. The wrench came up, and about 30 non communication codes came up. Before I went to the Ford dealer, they all went away.
The Ford dealer was able to pull up on the codes, seems like maybe a bad ground or faulty harness. But they haven't happened again, yet.
