Default F-150 3.3L V6 exhaust/muffler upgrade

Anyone upgrade the exhaust or muffler on 2019 3.3 L v6? Any suggestion for the best sounding one? I don’t want anything crazy and I understand it’s not gonna sound like v8. Just looking for something that is a bit deeper and louder than stock.

If it has a resonator on it just remove it, replace it with regular exhaust pipe, and be done.

I got my 2019 with the 3.3 this past September, and I've been contemplating modifying my exhaust for months now. My 2013 with the 3.7 had the best sounding V6 exhaust I've heard, and I'd love to approximate it with the 3.3. Local muffler shop said either a resonator delete or a different muffler would do the trick, I just havent had the time to get it done yet. I'll post a video when i do it, though it won't be until June at the earliest. Stock exhaust makes the truck sound like a delivery van haha! Thankfully the rest of the truck has been perfect and the 3.3 is awesome 😃

It will sound deeper than stock until about 2500rpm...then the sound out of it will not be what you may be looking for. Resonator delete may be the safest option without it turning to crap.

Thatd be great. Since it’s a 6 speed. At highway speeds it sits at about 2000-2500 rpm. I think hearing it then could get annoying.

Thats my only real concern about getting this done--drone at highway speeds. My truck has the 3.55's and turns about 1900 rpm at 70 mph, so I dont think it will be an issue. I will post a video once I get the resonator delete done in a few weeks. I'm curious to see how it sounds with it. The only time I hear any engine or exhaust noise is in tow/haul mode in 1st and second gear...if I accelerate slowly like that, it's got a little of what I call the "Uhaul warble," that weird V10 sound all the Uhauls make haha

You gentlemen are spot on. Short of a resonator delete, I dont see a safe, relatively inexpensive option to make the truck sound any better. I'm not personally crazy about any of the "cat back" exhaust systems I've seen on the latest edition of Ford's V6 trucks. Perhaps there is one out there I am unaware of that sounds really good.
