Default Extra icons on climate control portion of screen

Hey guys, does anyone know if this is something that the dealership can do to enable them or do you need to hack it with Forscan? I am not sure I understand why Ford chose to remove them from the screen.

TIA

Strange, I will have to ask at the dealer when I go back. I have the same build as you.

Do you have a pic of the icons that you think should be showing up on the screen?

I think he is referring to the seat and steering wheel icons in the climate area

found this in an old thread.. if your truck was built before 3/11/2015, you can only get the steering wheel (unless you use a Forscan unit)

45069 2015 Expedition/Navigator/F150 - Climate Controlled Seat Function Removed From The SYNC Touch Screen Display
2015 Expedition, Navigator vehicles built on or after 3/2/2015 and F150 vehicles built on or after 3/11/2015 with MFT or MLT and Climate Controlled Seats (CCS)will have the CCS touch screen buttons removed from the touch screen. The buttons for the climate controlled seats will remain functional on the Front Control Interface Module (FCIM) and will be the only way to control the climate controlled seats. No repairs should be performed.

Sorry to the OPer Dave, I didn't catch that this was an MFT truck. I was thinking that it was Sync 3. Hope you find your answer.

Yeah, I see that Ford made the decision to remove this functionality from all trucks made before march 2015. Bummer

It's actually made after not before... But if you want them they are easy to turn on using Forscan.. See the Forscan sticky thread,, read first post..
