Default Exhaust

Hey everyone,
I finally made the switch to ford and now have a 2016 ford f-150 with the 5.0 v8. I want to do an exhaust and was interested in the magnaflow exhaust part number 19203. I heard only one video on it and loved the sound but then on the magnaflow website there was only one review and the person stated it didnt fit correctly. I was wondering if anyone has this and could tell me more about it? Or if anyone has any other recommendations that would be great! It is my daily driver so nothing too loud but definitely want a deeper and louder tone than stock! Thank you!

I got AFE catback, easiest installation ever! Love the exhaust note not too loud! Just beware there is a bit of drone in cabin

if you are just going for sound, you can have a muffler welded in for ~175 bucks and be done. Magnaflow is good, flowmaster sounds good but drones, sometimes roush mufflers sound good (im sure they are rebranded version of something). Corsa is good, some people like Borla (i dont), never really heard AFE. Hearthtrob (or whatever it is) is popular on some vehicles.

Endless possibilities. A general rule of thumb is the smaller the muffler, the louder and more drone.

so it looks like thats an 18 inch muffler on that part number, it will be fairly quiet until you really get on it and you probably wont be able to hear it at all when its just idling. If you are wanting to hear it under normal acceleration, you might want to step down a size.

Check out electric cutouts. You can make it as loud or quite as you want.

Thats not really an option. Where are you going to put the cut out? before the stock muffler? It will sound terrible, raspy, and popping all over the place.

Without getting fancy and $$, its just going to sound gross.
