My exact thoughts, but maybe magentic signs will work since it prevents him from having any signage on the truck.

Lol.... give me a little slack, I've only had my 2017 for a couple months. The 2004 FX4 I sold was nicknamed "iron sides"...

If you're going to waste money on an extended warranty, price it through one of the online dealers and save huge dollars.

Didn't want the OP ordering mag signs then duct taping on his truck.. Just kidding but I'm sure it's already happened since I believe Ford is the first pickup to be mfg with aluminum panels. Big trucks (Class 8) have been using aluminum doors/cabs for many years..........

One of my buddy actually bought magnets for his company, on his 2017 F150...

I laughed really hard when I got to his place one night and saw him trying to stick them on the doors.

You just need real strong magnets so they stick to the window regulator tracks!

Which would be more expensive? Paying the additional $250.00, or loosing the tax write off?

If the truck shows up for warranty work with signage and a work bed, you might have a problem. In your case it'll be a non-issue if you use removable signs. Like Bill Clinton said "Don't ask, don't tell ".
