Solved!!!!!

I finally figured out how to reset codes in forscan. That fixed the problem. Thank you all for your help. I learned quite a bit from all of you. Most importantly, I need to take the time to become very familiar with forscan. Thank you!!!!!!

The warning lights came back on. Will send pics of codes.

Are now you using the stock wheel speed sensor or the new one?

Cross Mountain 09-08-2022 12:38 PM

I’m using the new one.

the only diff between the two sensors is that the new one has a small, metal washer/spacer that goes between the sensor and housing.

52merc will have better feedback and detail about exactly what the code means (open wire, bad data, etc), but I interpret this as the ABS unit saying the left front wheel speed sensor is not being read. I would focus your efforts there.

Then there are various other modules saying the ABS is not sending valid data (likely because of the wheel speed sensor). So I wouldn't worry about those right now.

I would look over the wiring carefully and reinstall the OEM Ford sensor. Was the wiring damaged? Maybe (long shot) there is something wrong with the new hub assembly that the sensor is not able to read speed correctly?

Glad you are getting more familiar with Forscan.

You have several problems that have issued DTCs. The multiple "U" communication codes are all likely caused by the problem with the wheel speed sensor. Since you now have a good list of the DTCs I suggest you clear all the codes using FORScan, then test to see which ones reoccur.

It appears there is, or was, a problem with the Air Inlet Door Actuator (same as Recirculation). Were you aware of this and did you do anything to correct it?

There is, or was, a problem with your rear Turn signal lamps. Were you aware of this and did you do anything to correct it?

Other Codes

thank you.

Yes, I just replaced the cabin filter. That code is now clear.

I am having a problem with my right directional. All lights work fine (passed inspection); however, I get the “fast blinking” on the dash. This is a problem for another day.

I would try using the stock sensor. I just replaced my driver hub yesterday, and the new sensor wire was damaged so I used the stock sensor. No issues or codes.
