Default Engineering Test Mode?

It used to be Ford vehicles had a way to access a decent number of ECU trouble codes and PIDs using the dash display or the NAV...

Anyone know if its possible with 2016's?

Although I have no codes or anything like that, it's nice to have access to that information without having to hook up a data logger.

Hold the ok button on steering wheel as you start the truck

I tried this procedure on 2 different vehicles (2015 & 2016 F150s - both XLTs w/302A Pkg.) and couldn't get it to work on either vehicle.

Has anyone else been successful using this procedure?

Worked on my 2016 XLT. Pushed the button and held it, then put the key in the ignition and started it.

First thing I saw was a guage test.

I was able to get this working last night...

I didn't have a lot of time to play, but there's quite a few items in there. Pretty cool.

Well that confirms it, I must be incompetent. I tried it again on my 2016 and it worked perfectly. I can only assume I didn't have the dash completely powered down when I tried it previously.

Does this procedure work on all Ford's across the entire product line?
