Default Engine Temps 3.5L

What should the engine temps be just normal driving around town. Mine seems to be about 210*. Is this normal, seems high to me but I have nothing to base this opinion on. Thanks

Normal. Thermostat probably opens at around 192-198.

They run modern cars hotter than you may be used to as part of efficiency.

Ain't that the truth. Freaked me out to see 229 degrees doing 80 mph on I10 in the summer.

Ford doesn't put numbers on the temp gauge but GM does. On their trucks 210 has been the midpoint setting for as long I can remember, and that goes back to the early 90's.
