Engine Auto-Start/Stop feature stalled engine?

We have found our truck stays running when the A/C is on at a stop, just an FYI.
We have some killer custom tunes available for the 2.7 and 3.5 as well. Our 2.7 is a torque monster when tuned, it is a night and day improvement while picking up some fuel economy as well. We are currently doing some developmental testing on the start stop disable also. I will post some good news when this feature becomes available.
Feel free to give us a shout if any questions about our 2015 F150 tuning and performance products as well.

There are some things you can do inadvertently to cause a manual restart to be necessary. Pressing the throttle and gas at the same time is one of them if I recall. Also taking it out of drive and a few others (two footed driving) You might want to read up on it.

Never had an issue with mine. 6,000 miles and counting. Never turn it off unless I'm planning to jump the light whether it be to get ahead of someone to make a lane change or just having fun with it. It's all in the brake pedal pressure. As soon as you start to lift, it should start. I've even "caught it" mid shut-down and had no issues... Several times surprisingly. Pull up to the light and forget to check the cross signal, as soon as I stop it turns green. I've seen it drop to 200 to 300rpm as I'm pressing the had and it just starts right back up. I've paid really close attention, and it seems the starter does still engage if you catch it coasting down in rpm.

JUST GOT A 2016 F-150 SUPER CREW WITH A 2.7 ECCO BOOST. lOVE THE TRUCK ! LAST TWO TRUCKS WERE F-250'S DIESELS.
I HAVE BEEN DEACTIVATING THE ENGINE SHUT OFF ON MY NEW TRUCK. I WAS THINKING IT IS TO HARD ON THE STARTER. BUT HAVE2 TO DO A LITTLE MORE RESEARCH ,

One of the main reasons I like the 3.5L.
All it takes is ONCE for the autostart to mess up in a very precarious situation and you and your family are dead. I know that sounds dramatic, and it's highly unlikely, but I do believe people WILL die from this autostart feature, you just won't hear about it.

Turbo --> :-)
It happened to me twice, that when I decided to 'go' in between incoming cars, that it shut down, and immediately restarted and I had to jump on the brakes because I felt I couldn't move quick enough.
It happened once with a rental Escape, and once with my F150.
Last week-end, I pulled the bezel and jumped the switch. No more shutting down.
