So I noticed my 2016 Screw has a gps antenna on the roof and rear view camera in the tailgate handle , but the tiny 1st gen Sync radio. Are their cables behind the dash for both of these? I suppose I could open the dash up and see. Thanks

 

Are you certain it’s the backup camera and not the little hitch area LED? If it is the camera, it should be hooked up already… The roof antenna houses the satellite radio antenna and GPS antenna. It should also be already hooked up to your infotainment system. The interior GPS module is likely missing from your truck since it was not optioned for it.

Definitely a camera. What happens when you shift to reverse? Does your info screen go black or not change at all? There’s a harness coming out of tailgate you could check connection there and the video input behind radio. If all are connected the camera could just be toast.

 

The camera and GPS both work with the small screen, the GPS antenna supplies data for the compass. If you have the camera, when you put the truck in reverse the camera should show on the 4" screen.
