Electrical ground
Just comment.
Bman has a 6.7 L engine and a larger different model truck, from his statistics listing.
3000 watts at 12 volts is 250 amps.
Best to Ground back at the Battery Ground point.
The unknown is.......will the BMS Sensor handle that much current through the Sensor sampling Resistance on long-time audio usage intervals?
It is designed to handle 100 amps starter loads for short intervals with low heating over the cranking time.
The start circuit has a time out feature to keep heating under control and keep repeated intervals short, plus a time delay before allowed to crank again.
Good luck.
