I'm assuming you didn't compress those springs yourself right (I'm trying to find a setup I can install out of the box)? How does it feel?
I believe 6112 is 500lb and Eibach is 525lbs. My CV angles are about the same as any 2.5 in level, but I agree. I was worried putting them in but the shop said they’re ok and no need for hefty UCAs. And no, I had the shop compress them. You looking to install everything yourself? Honestly, it feels GREAT. I do notice that I have to go slower over speed bumps in the front, but other than that I love the ride.

Shock Surplus sells 6112s preassembled FYI. Worth the extra money.

Yes, I'm looking to do everything myself. Question though, why slower over speed bumps? Does the added stiffness bounce the front end up?

Eh, not so much. It’s tough to explain. Almost like the spring wants to decompress from the speed bump so it shoots down as soon as I come over the bump if I’m going to fast. Honestly can’t explain it well enough. If I’m going slow, it feels great. I did some highway driving and loved the feel of it, though. City driving feels excellent. Just those speed bumps I hate. Haha.

I have been running the 6112/5160 set up for about 10 months. As others have stated a little stiff in the beginning but they ride amazing after breaking in a little bit. I think they handle great, and are an improvement over the 5100 in the front. The 5160 most likely are better performers than the 5100 in the rear if your punishing them, but for my use I couldnt tell the difference, but they look much better. I wanted to go with the eibach at first but they had just come out and could not find anything on them so I went with bilsteins since I had 5100 on the previous truck. I do wish the 6112 were a little higher, I am thinking of getting a 1.5" space and lowering them down to 1" so I can get 2.5" total lift. Then it would be right were I want it with the raptor rear blocks.

After breaking them in a little (Bilstein with Eibach coils) they’re feeling better. No more harshness on speed bumps. I think they needed to settle a little bit.

Most definitely. Been thinking about starting to catalog it in the members section. I'll write a review regardless. This forum has given me a lot.
