At 12V, that is just under 1A difference (each). No issues with wire size or fuses?
None at all

Correct, I believe all the lights are 15 amp fused circuits.

Like I was saying earlier, I took my stock 9005 bulbs & put them in my fog light housings (no mod required, will plug right in). I'm still inspecting my housings every night when I get home to check for signs of warpage, so far nothing in about 3 weeks time. If I do start to see some, I'll just swap in some 1945 bulbs. These housings are very similar to the rectangular housings like on a 2005-06 F150 & they held up fine to the 9005 bulbs. It was the round fog light housings that warped from the 9005 bulbs. It was said that was because the bulb in the round housing set very close to the front, these rectangular housing bulbs set back pretty far it looks like.

The daytime running lights in the 2015 F-150 are the low beam lights, correct?

I wonder how bad the bulb life would be with the H9 since they'd be running all the time.

Daytime running lights ? None of my lights are on at all unless I cut them on. You can manually cut them off or on using the center screen in the truck. But yes, the DRL are your low beam. The H9 Philips bulbs I got cost me $12.99 apiece, they're rated for 400 hrs of use.

If you drive for a living like I do too...you already know most drive around with their brights on all the time.

Isn't that the truth. Plus where I'm at is mostly trucks that are loaded or pulling trailers without leveling hitches so even lows look like high beams. Just one of my pet peeves.

Wish car inspections were required for registration and headlight adjustment along with the it's always foggy and I need to have them on because it's cool lights were checked along with light output and incorrect mods totally rejected

In Virginia you have to pass a state safety inspection every year, which includes headlight adjustment check & your fogs must turn off when your high beams are activated. State law says you can't have more than 4 bulbs lit at one time.....either low beam + fogs, or 2 bulbs for high beam, or 1 dual filament bulb for high beam. Also if you have an HID kit or even a retro fit kit, but your vehicle wasn't equipped with HID's from the factory it will fail.....and don't even think about putting those dumb *** blue or colored bulbs in because you'll fail. By doing the mod I said, you use OEM replacement bulbs & you don't **** off other drivers....and you will pass your state safety inspection.

Slightly off-topic, but I'd like to keep my truck as close-to-stock as possible but I like whiter looking lights over the stock yellow looking halogens.

Would something like this allow for an easy swap for plug-in-play to be able to get me a whiter look?

If you want a pure white looking bulb with no blue at all, go with the Philips Crystal Vision Ultra bulbs......This is what you need for low, high & fogs. Philips make the best bulbs in the industry, probably 80% of all OEM bulbs are made by Philips, there's a reason for that. So you can spend over $100 for those Sylvania's & still need fog lights to match, or spend $50 for all the Philips bulbs & get better quality & longer bulb life. If you do a search, you'll find that nobody (except PIAA, which are overpriced junk IMO) make a "high performance" H9 or 9011 bulb.....that's because they're already 2x as bright as a H11 & 9005 bulb. They literally can't make them any brighter without going to LED or HID. Just a thought.
