This is just on low beam with the standard H9 bulb. I might switch back to the H11 ultra white low beam bulbs I have if I'm blinding everyone.
Any chance you need to adjust your headlights if you removed the housing?

Has anyone used the Philips Crystal Vision Ultra bulbs and has a photo they can post?

not a chance, it's definite.

the factory headlight aim on these trucks is pathetic. It's almost a requirement.

Hell, properly aiming them with factory bulbs may be a significant improvement on it's own.

What is the proper way to aim these headlights? I agree the stock headlights are lacking...have not done the mod yet. Had someone riding with me the other night ask if the headlights were on; this was on low beam. I really don't feel safe driving over 50 mph at night on low beam.

I did remove the housings ....so how are the headlights adjusted ? Maybe there are way out of whack. Do you cover one headlight and adjust one at a time at night ?

Checked the owners manual and youtube of course. The headlights only adjust up and down. There is NO side to side adjustment on the 2015. So I calculated and measured and adjusted the drivers side down some. Then got my girlfriend and I drove her car and she drove my truck. I met it my truck three times driving on the road here. The low beams are just too bright. I see now why I got flashed so many times last night. Changing back to the Sylvania Ultra bright bulbs that I currently have in the high beams. But leaving my original high beam bulbs I moved to the fog/driving light housings. If you want more light it works. Just to much for on coming traffic.

Changed my low beam bulbs out this afternoon back to the stock # Sylvania Ultra White bulbs I had put in before I tried the upgrade. Drove to North Conway New Hampshire tonight. Was not flashed by any car. Still plenty of light.

Happy new year Stainless. Can you confirm which bulbs you have in your fogs? Are they the original 9005 high beam bulbs? If so, any issue with the extra heat in the housings?

Yes I can confirm my fog/driving lights are the original 9005 high beam bulbs. I ran them last night but honestly didn't take a look when I got back home. I was more interested in filling the wood stove.... I'll take a close look today to see if there was any sign of damage. Meeting cars with my fog/driving lights on. No one flashed me. I think the housing throws a wide short beam. So it might not be bright to on coming cars until they are right to your truck.

I did the mod with all Philips crystal vision ultras , excellent improvement. next will be the 12v relay and diode kit to have the fogs on w the hi beams. gonna run a separate fused 12v to a relay, diode then fogs to not over load the hi beam circuit w 11 a. more.
and..
imo I turned off the daytime lites, less hrs = longer life
