Default E Brake help please

Just go new rotors and brakes, E braked pads are kinda a PITA to put on but my big issue is my rotor goes on about half way and stops, the pads are to wide. the adjuster is bottomed out. Not sure if there is a cable adjustment I might be able to do. I guess worst case is I can put 1 new pad and 1 used pad. which I do not want to do. Any advice would be great.
thank you all

Tell us what you are working on here and what brand parts you bought.

If it's on half it will go all the way. It may take some patience, persuasion and perseverance.

.
The Rotor going on half way is before you put the loaded caliper over it!
What are we talking about?
The electric piston has to be retracted to get the new pads in place.
Hope you disabled the electric brake system before taking anything apart. It's still alive at all times. It's not ignition powered.
Good luck.

By not asking how to do things before doing them you most likely just cost your self hundreds of dollars for new calipers if you did not put the brakes into service mode before disassembly.

If you think pairing a new pad with a used pad is OK, you probably shouldn't be working on brakes. Bet you didn't retract the electric parking brake, but no way to know because you didn't tell us what you drive, what parts you bought or which corner of the vehicle you got stuck on.

2015 F150 sport 4x4 147 k miles 3.5 eco-boost, got the parts from American trucks. if I put the rotor on all the way over the new prking brake pads the rotor will not turn and the pad adjuster is all the way in. I am wondering if the brake cable could be stock slightly in the pulled position.

You were asked, did you disable electric brake system? Y/N?
If Y, my guess is you were sold the wrong brakes.
If N, I'd start with the watching video above.

Gentlepeople, OP has a 2015 with a cable brake. I am pretty sure the Electronic Parking Brake didnt come out until later, around 2018 I think.
