I wanted my 5.0 to sound like it had a v8. But I didn’t want to spend $500+ on a cat back. I put a dynomax ultra flow muffler 21” of stainless 3” pipe and a 3 id to 2.5 od reducer. Cut the tailpipe right behind muffler cut rear muffler hanger off mocked it up tack welded it took it back off and welded. Sounds pretty good not to loud. It’s actually quiet till you get on it then it’s loud. Cost about $100.
