Dash cam hardwire help
Ok I got my dash cam installed and hardwire kit nicely routed and tucked behind the trim. Last thing I need to do is ground and figure out what spot to plug into. Any suggestions?
How many power wires do you have to plug in? My dash cam needed 12v constant always on (for parking mode), and 12 volt accessory power. The ground wire just needs to be connected to the frame/body somewhere via a bolt. Are you using ad-a-circuits? Depending on your dash cam power requirements you'll need to find a fuse that matches. Some fuses are always on and some only on when the car is plugged in. You'll need to be a little more specific about your dash cam wiring.

How do you like the V3? I have the A119S and it's been GREAT as a dashcam

Dude all you need to do is remove the pillar trim and the fusebox door. Then put something like a fishtape from the top of your dash down to the fuse box area. No other trim needs to be removed.
I already did that. It’s all nice and neat and zip tied. Just need to know what fuse to plug into. I wanted the other trim piece off for a little more room and light.
