Wrong forum ... This is 2015 Ford F150.

Take the hose off the perpendicular floc cluster located under the dash and blow approx 5.2psi air thru it.

Worked like a charm on mine!

Use a grid-square to fill the blinker fluid.

I would not suggest doing that. If you wratchet the hose tube liner past the current arm azimuth, you might disengage the forward matte heading. Realigning the rear constant bar to 5/32 will produce a much coarser vector reading on most commercial omnipreciliscopes found in most shops.

Sounds like a bad warbler shaft.

I note it was the original poster (OP)'s first post. Let's give him some slack. Everybody's got a grampa. Assume this is someone else's grampa, and instead of being snarky, let's try to be helpful.

Let's try to deconstruct the OP's original comment, and see what's actually going on.

"06 xl having the dummy lights on and gauges down but runs great any ideas out there."

We can presume he has an 06 XL F-150. Being as it's an XL (base model), can we assume it's the base engine? What engine was it that year?

"dummy lights on" to me indicates the check engine light, or some other dashboard light is lit up. We call 'em "idiot lights" where I come from, btw.

"gauges down" could mean anything. The gauges don't work AT ALL (?). The gauge(s) are showing a low value (?)

What gauges were on an 06 XL? Oil pressure gauge? What else?

OP - does your truck have a dipstick? Is there oil in your engine? Have you owned this truck all along? Or is it new (to you)? Is this 'dummy light on' thing new?

Many times, when a check engine light (CEL) comes on, it has to do with an oxygen sensor in the exhaust system not working, or not sending data to the engine computer. It may be running rich (or worse, lean) due to this.

Then again, it could just be a loose gas cap....

OP - which light is on?

It would *really* help to know what dashboard light is lit, and what gauges are showing a low value. What is 'normal' for that gauge, and what is the current value?

I did a bit of googling, and found that if you see a yellow 'wrench' icon, it's frequently something to do with the fuel system (throttle body).

Take it to a Pep Boys (or the dealer) and have them read the OBD codes. That should give you a better indication of what the real issue is.

It *may* be as simple as replacing your air filter.
