Hi guys, dumb question as I dont know what this is. But anyways, I notice a small square rectangle located behind the front bumper where the license plate is, there was a sticker on it that said Flat speaker. I've no idea what this is, can anyone enlighten me? Is this stock or did prev owner add it? I have a 2016 F150 platinum with the 5.0.

 

Is it a square or a rectangle?
How big in inches it i? How big are the words and where.

I have a 2016 3.5....with a license plate and I don't know if I have the same irregular square but it doesn't appear to be (i can't get to the front of the vehicle very well to confirm though). Maybe a picture will be helpful. What does the sticker say now -it used to say Flat speaker, why is it a different name now than before?

 

I should have phrased it better... there IS a sticker, not there was. Lol



Anyway went back under and got a picture. It's actually a Square backing plate with 2 corners cut off and the other housing is more like a hexagon. This thing is about 6"x6"

Have you always owned the truck? That mounting bracket definitely does not look OE and the wires are not loomed or otherwise protected. Someone has added that.

 

Do you have a "special": horn?
