Default Drop-in bedliner

I’m interested in getting a drop-in bedliner. Main reason: help mitigate the dust coming up through the seams. I am hoping it will seal it up enough to keep the dust down. Anyone know if this is true?

I will have to seal up the gap between the tailgate and bed as well. I have the factory rubber gasket but it’s not enough. Will have to figure something out. Maybe simply a towel shoved in there for dusty roads.

Also, if anyone knows of a good source to get a factory drop in liner, I’d appreciate it.

You'll have plenty of people who will chime in to say how bad they are. But, they serve a purpose at a lower price point then spray in. I have one in my 2020 Scab and had one in my 18. I have a Pendaliner which is the same thing as the OEM drop in liner, minus the Ford logo. I spent $140 on the drop in liner for the 18 6.5' bed without boxlink. Truck accessory shops should be able to get you one.

Try spray bedliner shops, they often have stacks of these.

I caulked my seams and put a nice rubber seal around my tailgate, I am dust / water free 100%.

Try Facebook marketplace or OfferUp. I bought my drop in bed liner immediately following the purchase and drive home with my 2020 F150, from a guy on Facebook selling a brand new OEM Ford bed liner for $150. Heck, he even helped me put it on my new truck.

Ive had a drop in bed liner for years on these trucks with zero issues. For $150- it’s a no brainer!

I have put drop in liners in every truck that I have owned since the early 80's. Never had any issues. I have one in my 2020, and still get a little dust coming in around the tailgate. Am planning to put weather-stripping around that area like I did in the 2018 that I traded in on this one. It stopped 95% of all dust intrusion into the bed.

I bought my current bedliner from a local shop that sells various truck accessories, it was around $185 installed, and that included the rubber plugs to cover all 8 tie down points. It is a Pendaliner, I have had several of that brand, and have been very happy.

if someone figures out how to stay dust free I would like to hear it, but then again I drive 20 miles of gravel everyday...haha

I have a drop in and a soft top cover. The drop in still lets some dust in and the tailgate needs to be sealed better. with the amount I drive on gravel i find it impossible to make happen.

I hated my drop-in. Made my tonneau cover fit like crap. I pulled it out and left it for the G-men

I had a drop in on my F150, my biggest complaint was the rear lip and floor would never lay flat. Removed it and installed line-x, I then became paranoid about denting the aluminum bed throwing stuff into the bed like wood or tools. On the new truck I installed another drop in. Fits flat, keeps dirt down, easier to slide stuff, and im less paranoid about denting the bed.
