Default DRL issues

I have a 2019 ford f150 2.7
my sentinel sensor was taking forever to turn on my headlights on or off under auto so I went and ordered a new sensor model Genuine Ford Sentinel Sensor DG9Z-13A018-B
called even the dealership to make sure that’s ten correct one based on my vin

when I installed the new sensor, now my headlights work great and turn on and off when they suppose to based on how dark or light is outside BUT my running lights are no longer working . I had the little led running light and the turn signal luminate but now both are off

I attached a pic to show what little led I was talking about but I went on forescan to see if anything changed and nothing changed . I don’t know what’s going on? Anyone got an idea or fix ? I really liked my running lights the signal luminate and the little led but now none come

I have mine on auto all the time. But before I changed the switch, the little led and my turn signal will luminate I believe during the day and then at night the headlight turn on automatically and those stays on. I think it was like that from factory

shouldn't have been that way, the factory DRL was only the low beam headlights

oh! Someone told me on here earlier that the small led and the turn signal luminate or suppose to do that when it’s little dark outside or during the day and then full low beam when it’s dark. So mine now doesn’t come on at all unless low beam is on it doesn’t luminate when it’s little dark outside under auto

Because even my wife truck sometimes she babe 2015 f150. Her turn signals will luminate sometimes when it’s dark but not like crazy dark they will luminate until it’s dark enough for the headlight to turn on , and mine was like that until I replaced the sensor

This. As a Canadian truck owner, the DRL's are the low beam. All the time. Nothing to do with how dark it is.

well I disabled the Canadian feature and made it just like the US. So as a US truck. The low beam come on only when it’s dark and turn off when it’s bright, but my small led and turn signal usually luminate in certain situations like when it’s not too dark . And when it’s dark they luminate with the low beam. It was doing that until I changed the sensor and now they are off all the time until I turn on my low beam and then they luminate

I laminated my headlights with clear 3M protective film.
