Default Drivers vanity mirror lighting issues

Hello all, I'm hoping someone can help out with information on repairing the vanity lights on sides of visor mirror. Vehicle is stock 2015 F-150 Platinum FX4 with 82K miles if that makes difference. My wife drives the truck so I was just informed its been ongoing for a couple weeks.
Once the cover for mirror is lifted the light should illuminate and stay on. The drivers side light goes on and off until just the right angle is achieved which is not in position to stay put.
I found a few posts on web about shorted wiring in older models causing blown fuses but this is different. Any suggestions will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Did you ever solve this issue? I’ve been having issues with my HomeLink garage door opener. Upon closer inspection, its little led is not illuminating consistently. I then opened the vanity mirror and saw that it’s light is flickering as the angle of the visor is changed. I suspect there is a break in the wiring. I will take it apart soon to investigate.
