Driver side lean
Hi all
Im sure this is a common problem with these trucks so I’m looking for a fix. I have a 2017 f150 sport 4x4. I did a 2.5 front level kit and the back sits 1” lower on driver side and .25” lower on passenger side. Is there a way to correct the driver side lean? Can two different size rear blocks be used? 2.5” on driver side and 2” on passenger side?

Did your truck lean before the lift? What brand/type of level kit is it?
Did you install it?
Did you remove the 1" factory blocks and replace them with 2" blocks?
Are the new blocks seated properly? Is one side caught on the leaf spring pin?
Do you have the same amount of thread exposed on all your leaf spring u-bolts?
I wouldn't advise different height blocks in the rear. Something isn't right. 1" difference side to side is a lot. a 1/4" I could see but not a full inch.

yes before the level kit it leaned. Just not as noticeable because it was still higher than the front. Now because the front is supposed to be level with rear the rear sits lower on driver side but even on passenger side. I haven’t touched anything in the rear suspension. It is favorite 1.25” rear blocks still. I installed the front kit myself it’s a motofab 2.5”. I’ve done full trans swamps and built multiple rears in mustangs so I’m not a novice mechanic. The front was 100% installed correctly.

I'd betcha you looked at some UTube videos, or followed a desk jockeys instructions, and loosened up either the LCA or UCA?
And, have you had the frontend realigned? If you get the front end leveled side to side, hopefully that will take care of the rear unlevelness, is that a word?
Anyway, it's common for the rear to be slightly uneven. Depending on how much fuel in my 36 gallon tank, the left can be as much as 1/4" difference side to side.
Also, if you did do anything with the rear, make sure you torque all 4 U bolts the same.
I'm reading into this the front isn't level either, correct?
If I'm assuming thru my *ss, disregard this.
And, have you had the frontend realigned? If you get the front end leveled side to side, hopefully that will take care of the rear unlevelness, is that a word?

front is level. Didn’t loosen LCAs on front and alignment was done. This is solely the rear that’s uneven. I measured from center of wheel well to ground and it’s 38.5” and passenger side is 39.5”

I'm going to my dealer Monday, and I'll run this past my guys there, I'd like to know what tolerance Ford has myself. Hopefully you can get some info here before that, and not to scare anyone, I'm thinking.
Keep in mind that the body is not in direct contact with the frame. The first step in dealing with body lean is to measure the distance between the frame and the rear axle/lower ball joint. Way more often than not these are in spec if the vehicle has not been wrecked.
