Default Drip Moulding

I have a 2018 STX and the drip moulding looks like it might be slowing me down. Anyone else have their drip moulding flip up? Do I cut it off, sillycone it or what?

Thanks!

I don't know how they come off, but if it's easy maybe take a heat gun to it and bend it back to its original shape.

You need to take the rear window out first. I'd try the heat gun suggestion. Be careful not to burn the paint.

I've got the same problem too. Been that way almost since new. I don't like it either.

I guess as long as it doesn't trap water and cause a leak, and no one can see it but me, it's ok but it looks like #$@! I'm either going to trim it back or glue it down somehow. Taking the window out for that ain't gonna happen!

Shouldn't an 18 model be covered under the bumper to bumper warranty? I think I'd take that to the dealer and see what they say before I did a hack job on it.

Good catch. OP, definitely let the dealer fix it.

Actually I still have just shy of two years left on the warranty. I'll hold off butchering it until I have to take it in for the next issue that crops up. It just bugs me....

I guess there is at least one advantage of being short. I can't see the front of my mouldings.
