Default Drill through the center console

Greetings all.
I need to drill a one inch hole in the drivers side of center console to run wires through. I am looking to do it towards the front of the tub, but I am not sure what, if anything might be running within the tub wall. This is a 2016 150 Limited. Is anyone familiar with this or has anyone removed the tub? I am not worried about the damage to the tub from the hole, I just don't want to make a fatal mistake by destroying any wiring or circuit boards that might be within the wall of the tub.

Thanks in advance.

Take it apart before you drill! Even if someone told me it was safe to so do, I would take it apart

I've done it. The wall is hollow between the outer (by the seat) and the inside of the console. Catch is - its flow-through. Air flows through to the vents in the rear of the console. I stuffed the hole with foam (same you use on window AC units in your house). Does the trick well enough, and the seat blocks it from view (at least where I drilled).

Thanks for the info. The console in my Roush Raptor was easy as the walls were thin and there was nothing inside. This console seems much more complex and taking it apart is going to be a challenge because I cant seem to locate any online diagrams, instructions or walk throughs for this. Is this information readily available?

Thanks again.

My advice is don't. If you take it apart and look there's enough space to fish wires through the existing holes, I put a camera system in my truck and I was able to route 8 16 awg wires and 7 AVG wires up through my floor board in the drivers side into my dash and across behind my stereo. Just takes a little time and patience. But that's my .02!

Thanks mouthymedic. Unfortunately there is not enough wire to run the radio and siren controller all the way up and back so I have to go in through the side or the bottom. Now that 2011Supercrew gave me that link, I can open it up and take a look.
