Default Downgrade FordPass?

Just tried the new version of FordPass on my iPhone after a few months of not using it at all.
I cannot believe that they would force us to use Google to just use the vehicle location part of the app. All of the information they are sharing with Google is just disgusting. No doubt that the G is paying Ford a lot of money for this. I only use G minimally and this is a deal -breaker for me.
Does anyone know of a way to downgrade the FordPass app to the previous version?

You're not forced to use FordPass. Set your Google account so it's not keeping location history. If you don't have a Google account, don't worry about it.

No you can’t downgrade.

the app leaves a little to be desired, but works fine for me.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll keep it installed for now, but the only thing its good for is remote starting.
My point was that I hate FMC giving up so much of my personal information to Google if I agree to the app's terms of service. The previous app's location option worked just fine for me

If your cell phone is on, they are all already tracking your location.

Find the APK for the old version, uninstall the app, install the APK file and go back to the older version.

Oops you're on an Apple device. Translate above to apple, what ever kind of install files they use.

On iPhone, disable "Location Services" and disable "Find my phone".
