Is the outside door mirror on the drivers side programmable with the drivers seat on a 2015 platinum

 

Both mirrors and the drivers seat are programmable. Adjust to where you want and then press and hold the 1, 2 or 3 button. You can also program the 1 button with a fob and the 2 button with the 2nd fob (see manual).

 

Recent purchase of a 2018 F150, wanted to see how to program the folding mirror option when locking the truck. Any suggestions? TIA!

 

Folding mirrors require the power folding mirrors and FORScan. Trailer towing power folding mirrors require FORScan and a PIN swap. See the FORScan sticky at the top of the forum.

 

Thanks for the reply. Mine does have power folding; will look into FORScan - I assume it's a non-Ford program option.

 

FORScan software is free. The USB adapter to connect a laptop to your truck is $45. Programming FORScan is addicting. I have done the following so far:

Bambi (Low Beam & Fogs stay on with Brights)
Global Window Up/Down (Press & hold Lock or Unlock for 4 seconds and front windows go up or down)
No Double Honk Disable (Turn off the double honk when you close a door with truck engine on)
Panic Alarm (Requires two presses of the button on the fob to set off the panic alarm)
Engine & Transmission Temp (digital temperature displays above gauge)
Turn Signal Flashes (Default is 3 I have set to 4 when you push lever for lane changes)
Autofold Mirrors (fold mirrors when truck is off and locked)

Wow, just looked into it. Looks daunting and complex...

The mods you made below are great! Hate that double beep since I am always forgetting something in the house and the loud horn beeps; my wife car does that too. The automatic windows would come in handy on the hot summer days to cool the cab down!

 

Download Livintiups instructions and spreadsheet and follow his instructions. It is easy to do just follow the steps. He even has videos linked in his instruction document.
